Why I do this work
Because real change starts with how we lead ourselves and others.
I’m James Russell - an executive coach, organisational change adviser and speaker.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked with organisations navigating complex change - from large‑scale transformation and technology adoption to leadership development and cultural shifts.
I’ve led change from the inside and supported it from the outside.
That experience has shaped how I work.
I don’t believe change fails because people are resistant or incapable.
I’ve seen, again and again, that it falters when responsibility, uncertainty and pressure aren’t shared or spoken about.
My role is to help leaders see clearly, think well under pressure, and lead change in a way that others can engage with - without losing themselves in the process.
